We do try to keep a good amount of stock on hand but just in case, please allow up to 48 hours for the production of substrates and grains.

● 2 x Unicorn Bag with:
● 0.2µ Filter (keep the air going inside the bag extra clean)
● 2 x Self-adhesive 3M Self Healing Injection Ports (making inoculation easy and sterile)
● 2 x Alcohol swabs
● 1 x Pair of Black Nitrile Gloves

--BEST PRACTICES--

Clean the whole bag and entire working area with 70% isopropyl alcohol.
 
Place the clean bag on the side so the injection port faces upwards for easier inoculation.


 
Flame sterilise the needle and wait a few seconds until it cools off.


 
Push the needle through the injection port and inoculate 10-24cc of Liquid Culture solution, and inoculate the solution to the grain part of the bag.
Use a slight up-down motion with the needle to spread the spore solution around.
 
Hold the injection port with 2 fingers and slowly pull out the needle.


 
Ensure the Liquid Culture spreads well through these larger bags, after inoculation -  move the bag around gently to avoid pooling in one area.
Store inoculated bags at room temperature. 
 
Best results are achieved when inoculating inside a Still Air Box or in front of a Flow Hood.

--STORAGE--

Our bags can be stored for more than a month in proper condition (Cold and dry place), however, we recommend using them in the first 2 weeks after delivery.


--STERILISATION--
 
Eastcoast Mushrooms use commercial-grade autoclaves. Sterility is verified using biological indicators and temperature sensors.
 
Work is performed in front of a massive commercial 99.9% laminar flow hood.

Shipping is costly for these type of items, therefore we are not able to provide Express Post for this bulk pack. If you do need it urgently, please let Adam know and the additional cost can be worked out. We would really like to be able to offer this pack at an even lower price for our regular growers, however, postage costs make this a challenge. Thank you for understanding.
