Make your own Agar Plates. 80g resealable pouch of MEAG Powder
 
This all-in-one blend of Malt Extract, Agar Agar Powder and Gentamicin (antibiotics) creates the perfect medium for culturing mushrooms in petri dishes and test tubes. Especially useful if you are cloning wild specimens or cleaning up bacterial cultures.
 
We've packaged this up in a resealable pouch for convenience and storage.
 
Add an entire bag to the recommended amount of water and autoclave or pressure cook at 15psi for 45 minutes. Allow agar to cool until you can hold the bottle then pour your plates.
 
20g add 500ml of water and this will fill 20 Petri dishes
40g add 1L of water and this will fill 40 Petri dishes
80g add 2L of water and this will fill 80 Petri dishes
