We only sell high-quality products, after experimenting with many different options. Our grains and substrates are as locally sourced as possible. We put care, love and good vibrations into everything we do and want you to grow amazing mushrooms, that's why we offer our inbox up for any questions as you grow.

We do try to keep some on hand but just in case, please allow up to 48 hours for the production of substrates and grains.

1. Clean the whole bag and entire working area with 70% isopropyl alcohol.

2 . Place the clean bag on the side so the injection port faces upwards for easier inoculation.

3. Flame sterilise the needle and wait a few seconds until it cools off.

4. Push the needle through the injection port and inoculate 5-12cc of Liquid Culture solution / Spore solution, inoculate solution to the grain part of the bag.

5. Hold the injection port with 2 fingers and slowly pull out the needle.

6. Store inoculated bags at room temperature. For faster growth, we recommend storing them at 27-29 degrees Celcius

7. Mix the whole bag properly once the grain part gets colonised to at least 70%. (do not open the bag, just mix around the contents with your hands)

8. After full colonisation initiate fruiting conditions as usual.

Best results are achieved when inoculating inside a Still Air Box or in front of a Flow Hood.

After full colonisation it can be fruited directly in the bag or transferred to a fruiting chamber.

Our bags can be stored for more than a month in proper condition (Cold and dry place), however, we recommend using them in the first 2 weeks after delivery.


Eastcoast Mushrooms use commercial-grade autoclaves. Sterility is verified using biological indicators and temperature sensors.

Work is performed in front of a massive commercial 99.9% laminar flow hood.

Our bags can be stored for more than a month in proper condition (Cold and dry place), however, we recommend using them in the first 2 weeks after delivery.


In the event that the 4-T size bags are out of stock, we will use a 10-T with an injection port (also great to use).

Your success is our success! Eastcoast Mushrooms replace your item if it becomes contaminated in the first 2 weeks. Images required.

Dispatch

Please allow 2-3 working days for dispatch. For Substrate, Grain Spawn and Agar, we are constantly pumping out fresh batches but please allow some wriggle room which is necessary on occasion.
